Your Local Olathe Eye Doctor

Visit Galbrecht Eyecare for all your optometry needs. Our optometrist is looking forward to helping you get the most out of your vision.

Dr. Galbrecht was born & raised here in Olathe, KS. She sees pediatric as well as adult patients, and stresses the importance of annual comprehensive eye exams for all patients – and not just a vision screening – in order to check for early signs for a variety of eye diseases and treatments.

Eighty percent of learning is visual. So Dr. Galbrecht checks for any vision issues that can affect performance in school that may not be readily diagnosed by a pediatrician or school nurse.

Adult patients need to worry about glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, as well as early signs of diabetic retinopathy. If your physician has told you that you have diabetes or that you are at risk for it, please notify Dr. Galbrecht at the beginning of your exam.

If you are experiencing headaches, double vision or have any other eye health concerns, it is important to discuss them with the optometrist at your annual exam – if not sooner!

Of course, Dr. Galbrecht sees emergency patients on a daily basis, and you should contact our office immediately in case of any eye emergency.
